Urea is a organic molecule, which is excreted from the human body. It has the chemical formula is CO(NH2)2

In the liver, amino acids are deaminated - ammonia is removed from them. This is then reacted with carbon dioxide, to form urea.

Removal from the bodyEdit

The urea goes into the bloodstream, to the kidneys, then it is removed from the blood via the glomerulus and Bowman's capsule. Then it, in urine travels to the bladder in the ureter, then is excreted from the body through the urethra.
